Sister Cities partnerships today are active global development organizations with a whole spectrum of programming, but at the core, they are powered by a dedicated group of people who have spent years forming personal relationships and partnerships. These connections between people, between citizen diplomats, are what make everything else possible.

The programs that we offer today are a direct result of the particpation of hundreds upon hundreds of citizens from both the Fox Cities and Kurgan over the past 20 years. They are programs that deliver tangible benefits and offer experiences that are hard to find anywhere else, but even moreso they are programs that include that personal touch - lasting connections between people who work to bring our world closer together.

Programming at the Fox Cities-Kurgan Sister Cities Program is structured into three tracks: Civil Society, Education, and Media Initiatives. Each program is coordinated by a three-person team consisting of the Special Projects Coordinator and one member from both the Kurgan and Fox Cities Task Forces. Within each track are a number of programs and projects.
