As a community-based, volunteer-driven organization, there are many ways to get involved in our programs.
Host a Guest | share your culture
The Fox Cities-Kurgan Sister Cities Program hosts delegations from Russia periodically throughout the year. We have students, educators, professionals, and officials – people of all ages and experiences. We strive to provide every one of our guests with a first-hand look at our culture and way of life while they are taking part in our programs. We acheive this through host family placements for all travelers on a Sister Cities-related program. All we ask is that you give your guest a comfortable place to stay, meals whenever they’re home, and a chance to experience real life in another part of the world. In exchange, you have the opportunity to build a friendship in a different country and learn about a world you might not have the chance to experience otherwise.

Serve on a Committee | lend your expertise
Our programs depend on the cooperation of organizations, businesses, schools, local government, and most importantly – the people we work with every day. We have committees for all our program tracks – civil society, education, and media – and encourage you to get involved. Our volunteers help plan events, arrange itineraries, dream up exciting new projects, and lend a helping hand to our fundraising efforts.

Donate | help make our programs possible
The Fox Cities-Kurgan Sister Cities Program is not a humanitarian aid organization. We are an active mutual development agency that operates right here in your own community. All of our programs are developed with a two-way structure that ensures equal benefits and contribution from the Fox Cities and from the Kurgan community. That means that any program we undertake will have a tangible outcome on the civil society, education, or information environments in both places, and that your money will go directly to making a difference in your own community, not to mention the lives of people on the other side of the world.
