The organization is led by a US-based board of directors and an action team of community members in Kurgan, including leaders in education, health care, government, and community development.
Since 1990, the Fox Cities-Kurgan Sister Cities Program has been leading programming in civil society, health care, infrastructure development, chemical weapon elimination, education, and the arts.
Since the inception of our international partnership, infrastructure, health care, and civil development have been at the forefront of our organization’s programming.
High school and university exchanges have been taking place between the Fox Cities and Kurgan since before our partnership was even officially established.
The newest of our initiatives, programming in the arts seeks to connect our communities on a new level, beyond the limits of borders, culture, and language.
