
The Fox Cities-Kurgan Sister Cities Program is a citizen-driven community collaboration between two regions on opposite sides of the world. Over 20 years, our programming has ranged from medical and health care development to elimination of chemical weapons to domestic violence, rule of law, and educational development.

The organization is led by a 13-member board of directors comprised of community leaders and supporters in the Fox Cities region, who work alongside a community-based group in Kurgan on a multitude of projects.

Our many successes over the past two decades have led to a strong relationship that continues to grow and thrive. The Fox Cities-Kurgan Sister Cities Program currently leads projects in the areas of civil society, education, the arts, and community development. We’ve been at it for 20 years, and ours is the only regional partnership of its kind in the world!
